"Due to identical pronunciation of its Chinese name, 山慈菇 is often confused with an herb used in south China derived from Asarum Sagittaroides, Asari Saggitaroidis Herba (山茨菇 shan ci gu)...Because Asari Saggitaroidis Herba consists of green leaves with stalks, while Cremastrae/Pleiones Pseudobulbus consists of bulbs, the two are easily distinguished." pg. 186
