Translator's annotation

The flower is called Bai Dou Kou Hua / 白豆蔻花.
"Historically, the term Dou Kou / 豆蔻 has been widely used to refer to several similar aromatic, cardamom-like fruits including white Dou Kou (Amomum Kravanh 白豆蔻 Bai Dou Kou), herbal Dou kou (Alpinia Karsumadai 草豆蔻 Cao Dou Kou), red Dou Kou (Alpinia Galanga 红豆蔻 Hong Dou Kou), and fleshy Dou Kou (Myristica Fragrans 肉豆蔻 Rou Dou Kou).
When the term Dou Kou is used alone, it refers to Amomi Fructus Rotundus (Bai Dou Kou / 白豆蔻).
Nutmeg seeds are also known as fleshy fruit (Rou Gui /
肉果) or jade fruit (Yu Guo / 玉果)." (Bensky, p. 872)
